As we close out the year, it is time for us to look back and reflect on our favorites from 2016. Check out which albums stood out to EDM Identity Team Members this year!

My oh my were there a slew of albums released in 2016 that blew us out of the water. Whether it was massive releases from The Chainsmokers, Flume, Eric Prydz, or long-awaited releases from Eco and Justice, it was hard to select which albums were our favorites of the year. Many artists actually debuted with their first-ever artist albums this year too, making the selection process even more difficult. There also were some standout albums that permeated multiple lists from EDM Identity Team Members below, including Flume’s Skin, Eric Prydz’s Opus, Zeds Dead’s Northern Lights, and Markus Schulz’s Watch The World. Check them out and click on those blue links to get more information about the albums we thought were the best of the year!
