Groove Cruise is the OG of the “Festival On A Ship” genre. This year they’re setting sail on a 5 day journey with 120 hours of non-stop music to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In honor of the incredible adventure attendees will be embarking on, we want you to have the opportunity to get to know the talent who will be our “Taste Makers” for Groove Cruise Cabo (GCC). Each week, we will feature articles on two DJs playing GCC as well as a set from one of their latest events or some recent releases so you can get to know them better. Next in our series is… Throttle!

Throttle
Quickly rising to the upper echelon of artists, Throttle has definitely been on the rise this year in the electronic music scene. Playing massive shows like EDC Las Vegas and EDC New York were complemented by a Spring tour alongside Oliver Heldens. His original releases “Money Maker“, “Together”, and collaboration with Heldens, “Waiting” have all been received well by both artists and fans alike. I personally love his upbeat, almost-disco sound, and can see him reaching new heights as an artist in the rest of 2016 and beyond. His original releases are complemented by remixes of major artists ranging from AlunaGeorge to Sam Smith, and even a rework of Earth, Wind, and Fire’s track “September”. This Dirty Disco artist is on the right path and clearly has no plans on stopping anytime soon.
