The latest volume of mau5trap’s We Are Friends has finally arrived and features 26 quality tunes from Kasablanca, LUPA, EDDIE, Bensley, and more.

One thing that mau5trap has become renowned for over the past decade is pushing the boundaries of electronic music. From shining a spotlight on rising artists carving out space in their niche of the scene to becoming a home for major names, there’s been no shortage of talent that has landed on the deadmau5-led imprint. While this is most commonly found with the standalone releases that have graced the label, their We Are Friends compilation series has also become one of the most beloved with its focus on the future.

Today, after setting sail on tour over the past year, mau5trap revealed the eleventh volume of We Are Friends – and this time around, there are 26 beautiful tracks that are sure to captivate fans of the imprint. Familiar faces on the imprint, such as Morgin Madison, Speaker Honey, EDDIE, Lamorn, SVNF8, Lupa, and deadmau5 himself, make appearances; there’s plenty more in store from the likes of Ghost Dance, Astrobear, ShadowStar, Who’s John, and DJ Dee.

While each track on We Are Friends, Vol. 11 stands out on its own; there are a few that left a lasting impression and deserve a special mention. Kasablanca’s “Transitory” is a beautiful progressive tune that will sweep listeners off their feet and whisk them away to a futuristic realm of their creation. Bensley’s “Never Enough,” which landed as a single off the compilation late last year, is a jaw-dropping drum and bass track filled with energy to help you shake off the winter’s snow.

Artists including Lupa, Raito, Psycho Boys Club, and Dustycloud bring the heat on the techno side of the spectrum, while some of the compilation’s most gorgeous soundscapes arrive from Wintersix and Alisky on “Rain” and ASHE on “Plastic Snow.” If you’re looking for a ride into the electronic cosmos, then your hunt will be over with tunes like STAR SEED’s “11: 11” and Morgin Madison and Vania’s “All I Need.” And you simply can’t ignore the two offerings deadmau5 brings to the compilation, “Xyz” and “Antisec” with YTCracker, that show off his abilities in the progressive and hip-hop realms.

We Are Friends, Vol. 11 is out now across all platforms, so make sure to give it a spin and let us know which tracks stood out the most to you on Twitter!
