In honor of #TranceGiving, aka Dreamstate SoCal, we want attendees to have the opportunity to get to know the talent who will be our “Trancegiving Tour Guides”.

Each week, we will feature bios of DJs who will take the stage at Dreamstate SoCal this year, as well as some beats to help familiarize you with their work. Next in our series is… Outsiders!

Don’t forget to check out the other artist bios in our series to get familiar with the rest of the new artists on the lineup!

Israeli duo Outsiders are at the forefront of the growing Psytrance movement.

Since launching their collaborative project, Psytrance artists Haim Lev and Guy Malka have been serenading crowds with some of the best beats in the genre. Hailing from Israel, Outsiders have evolved their sound in a region that many consider a mecca of the genre today.

On the production front, their evolution in the psytrance scene is evident by their storied release history that has graced leading labels like Nano Records and HOMmega Productions. While in the studio solo or in collaboration with artists like Sonic Species, Raja Ram, and Symbolic, their signature touch is always present in the releases they put out.

Over the years Outsiders have left lovers of psy impressed with their album Our Prophecy and EPs like Intergalactic Conversation and Time Machine. Their compilations Music Is Our Mantra and Goa Session are must-listens for anyone looking to explore the genre more deeply, and they’ve shown off their skills as remixers too.

Most recently, Outsiders helped Insomniac in the launch of Dreamstate Records this year, gracing the brand new imprint with their track “Sticklights”. A collaboration with Freedom Fighters, the track was a perfect fit for the Part Of The Dream compilation that showed off some of the best in the trance scene today.

Check out Outsiders set at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival in 2015 for a taste of what you can expect from their performances!

If you’re looking for a quality psytrance set during Trancegiving, look no further than the one that Outsiders will bring. Expect to hear some unreal beats as they’ll be playing their hearts out during their debut on US soil. I hope to see you all there!
