In honor of #TranceGiving, aka Dreamstate SoCal 2017, we want attendees to have the opportunity to get to know the talent who will be our “Trancegiving Tour Guides”.
Each week, we will feature bios of DJs who will take the stage at Dreamstate SoCal this year, as well as some beats to help familiarize you with their work. Next in our series is… Real Trance Family!

Out of all the names on this year’s Dreamstate SoCal lineup, Real Trance Family (RTF) came out as a big surprise.
Who is Real Trance Family, you might ask?
For one thing, the family is made up of a dad, a mom, and three kids from Belfast. Like most families, car trips consist of family members sitting in the car listening to music or talking to each other. However, this family enjoys listening to trance in the car together.
If you head over to their YouTube channel, you’ll see a plethora of videos of the family grooving along to the music. In one of the videos, the father insinuated that the best way to wake up tired kids from schools is the play some trance on the drive home. There’s even a video of the twins being introduced to Psy for the first time. Keep your eye on the eldest in the passenger seat mouthing along to “Anti Social Media” by Coming Soon!!! featuring Bryan Kearney.
In another special video, Armin van Buuren catches a trance-fueled ride with the father and children.
During this filming, Armin joins in on the fun car ride as everyone sings and dances along to his track, “Shivers”. The father can barely contain his joy and excitement with the “King of Trance” in his car.
Each car ride comes with a special CD compiled by the father, who will be performing at Dreamstate.
While we don’t know for sure yet if other members of the family will be present, we know for sure that the father will be there. Check out their Facebook for sneak previews of the father prepping for the Dreamstate adventure. One thing is for sure, Real Trance Family represents a special family who enjoys listening to trance together – something we can all identify with our own rave or festival families.
