Groove Cruise is the OG of the “Festival On A Ship” genre. This year they’re setting sail on a 5 day journey with 120 hours of non-stop music to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In honor of the incredible adventure attendees will be embarking on, we want you to have the opportunity to get to know the talent who will be our “taste makers” for Groove Cruise Cabo. Each week, we will feature articles on two DJs playing on the ship as well as a set from one of their latest events or some recent releases so you can get to know them better. Next in our series is… Gareth Emery.

Gareth Emery:
What is there to say about Gareth Emery that hasn’t already been said? You can’t talk about trance classics without mentioning some of his songs including Concrete Angel, and Sanctuary. While he did take a break from strictly creating trance a few years back, he recently released a new album “100 Reasons To Live”. This album shows that trance isn’t dead, and Gareth still has it.
2016 has been an incredible year for Gareth Emery. Not only has he been releasing records (of which, there’s a remix LP due out later this year), but he has continued his weekly Electric For Life podcast/radio show. His festival sets this year are some of the best I’ve ever seen for him. One thing is for sure, you won’t want to miss this incredible act on Groove Cruise!
