'Wraz and Friends 2' Offers Four Fresh Dubstep Collaborations

**The second edition of Wraz’s mini-compilation series, Wraz & Friends, has landed with four new sound system-ready collaborations.**

Canada-based dubstep producer Wraz has been on the move all spring and summer this year, playing countless shows across North America as well as notable festivals like Lightning in a Bottle, Sound Haven, and Shambhala Music Festival. With the popularity of 140 BPM dubstep on the rise in America post pandemic, his sound is exactly what bass music fans are craving right now.

A significant portion of Wraz’s lengthy discography is made up of collaborations as he’s always loved sharing and creating ideas with like-minded producers. Thus the Wraz & Friends mini-compilation series was born last summer, self-released by Wraz and featuring four joint efforts. Fast-forward to this year, and the latest edition has just landed, again offering four new beats and all different collaborators. Dubstep fans will surely recognize a few of the tracks as other artists have been rinsing them in their own sets all summer, and they’ve certainly slapped.

Collaborator Torcha offered a sneak peek of both his and Criso‘s appearances on Wraz & Friends, “Magic Door” and “Glitched,” in his EDM Identity Guest Mix back in April, and we’ve been waiting for these stripped-down low end lurkers ever since. Wraz also brings rising Canadian artists Detoor and IDHS into the spotlight for the heavy opening and closing tracks “The Dark Side” and “Slay,” respectively. With collaborations being a huge segue for listeners to discover new artists, there’s no doubt Wraz was able to introduce fans to someone new on Wraz and Friends 2.
