'Hypnotised' Series Spotlights Progressive Trance In Latest Compilation

**Black Hole Recordings continues to showcase different sides of the trance scene and celebrate its rich history with its latest compilation, Hypnotised presents Progressive Trance.**

As one of the most prominent imprints in the electronic music scene, Black Hole Recordings‘ legacy speaks for itself. That legacy includes a deep catalog of stunning releases from some of the community’s most beloved artists, with many of them focused on the powerful sounds of trance. To highlight the depth of the genre and celebrate its past, present, and future, Black Hole Recordings introduced the Hypnotised series to the world. Now, they’ve dropped Hypnotised presents Progressive Trance as the latest in the series.

The Hypnotised series previously focused on the regional sounds of trance and has since clocked in editions centered on subgenres like Balearic. Now, progressive trance gets its time in the spotlight, three decades after the genre began bringing its more meditative, thoughtful soundscapes to the scene.

Hypnotised presents Progressive Trance clocks in at 27 tracks across three discs, with each focused on a specific portion of the genre’s history. The first takes listeners back to the ’90s with tracks like Nickelson’s “Aquaphonic,” Van Bellen’s “Let Me Take You [On A Journey],” and a 2025 remastered original mix of Cass & Slide’s “3Tyrants@thebonaparte.”

Fast-forward to the 2000s, and you’ll find the final two discs that drive home the Indoor and Outdoor ambiance progressive trance brings. While Indoor offers a dose of sounds from the likes of World Clique, Joker Jam, Max Graham, and Solarstone vs Scott Bond, Outdoor packs its own punch. That disc compiles tunes including DJ Tiësto’s remix of Delerium’s “Innocente,” Mark Otten’s “So Serene,” and Karada’s “Last Flight.”
