Trancegiving family, get ready to blast off to the far reaches of the outer galaxies with Future Frequency!
Future Frequency was founded in 2011 when Joe Markendale aka Sonic Species and Leon Kane aka Avalon had the itch the stretch their creative legs and see where the beat would take them. With their combined powers taking shape in the studio and on the live circuit, they burst out onto the scene in 2012 with their debut hit track with Zen Mechanics “Naked, Stoned, and Exalted”. That was followed a few years later by their first EP, Transmission, on Nano Records in 2015. With that, their new alter ego would emerge for the masses to enjoy and their brand new progressive psytrance journey would begin.
Next on the agenda would come the inevitable release of a debut album in the form of Freakuencies, a nine-track offering from the dynamic duo. The album boasted massive offerings that included remixes of Vini Vici’s “Veni Vidi Vici”, Captain Hook’s “The Jolly Roger”, Liquid Soul’s “Revolution”, and Astrix’s “Underbeat”, as well as five fresh new originals that get the energy pumping on the dance floor!

As the buzz around this collaboration continues to grow, Future Frequency gears up for a brilliant and bright future in sound!
Just this past September, Future Frequency hit their fans with one more dance floor delicacy in the form of “Time Crystals”, a peak time psytrance stunner alongside Yestermorrow. The track explores the effect of sound on the tiny crystals that hold time together, unveiling the truth that deeper dance-floor moments are an extraordinary, and very happy, byproduct of these unique sound elements.
The last couple years have proven to be a massive success for this psychedelic dream team. The duo has now established themselves on the world stage blasting dance floors all around the globe both as their solo acts and together as Future Frequency! If you are a fan of the psytrance genre then you would be a fool to miss these boys in action when they take to the stage united as one at Dreamstate SoCal 2017!
