VELD Music Festival is bringing the heat this summer for its 10th edition. From August 4-6, 2023, the grounds of Downsview Park in Toronto will come to life as attendees unite to bask in the mood-lifting magic of electronic dance music. Since this edition will be a major anniversary milestone, VELD has hyped it up as the best one to date, so the lineup simply needed to impress. Well, the wait is over, and the musical entertainment that they’ve unveiled is worthy of an expedition across the border!
Right off the bat, the anticipation is pushed into overdrive with the inclusion of massive headliners like Above & Beyond, ILLENIUM, Loud Luxury, Tiësto, and Zedd. But, taking a gander at the rest of the lineup, the fan-favorite vibes rage on like the rapids of Niagara Falls, featuring must-see acts including Dom Dolla, Gareth Emery, Gorgon City, Subtronics, Svdden Death, and Zingara. To mix things up, there are even a handful of extra special performances that any music lover would be a fool to miss, like a club set by Canadian duo Bob Moses, a hybrid DJ set by house duo SOFI TUKKER, and JAUZ going Off The Deep End to bring the groove.
But there’s one more name on the lineup that seems to be creating the most buzz. Last year, Rezz announced that she would be joining Toronto’s own deadmau5 for a unique b2b at an undisclosed festival in 2023, and with a name like Rezzmau5 listed, it seems that the cat (or mouse) has been let out of the bag! This is a set that is sure to make history, so if that doesn’t get you feening for tickets, you may want to check your pulse.
Now that the lineup has officially manifested, all that’s left to do is start planning for one of the best weekends of your life at what is considered to be the biggest EDM festival in the country. In fact, last year brought along three unique stages to explore, a plethora of delicious food, stunning pyro, fun rides, and thousands of beautiful people.
