In honor of #TranceGiving, aka Dreamstate SoCal 2016, we want attendees to have the opportunity to get to know the talent who will be our “Trancegiving Tour Guides”. Each week, we will feature bio’s of four Dreamstate DJ’s as well as a set from one of their latest events or some recent releases so you can get to know them better. Next in our series is…. Major7!
Major7:
Hailing from gorgeous Tel-Aviv, Israel, this duo is a progressive tech/psytrance project with a whole lot of talent that they have committed to spreading to the electronic dance music world. Nadav Bonen & Barak Argaman bring personality and a wild uniqueness in both their production and their live sets. To hear them is to love them and if you are a fan of anything psy then these guys are going to knock your socks off! True champions of the genre, this is the second project that these men have thrown their hearts and souls in to. Their first project was called X-noiZe and after spending 8 years perfecting their sound, they decided to take on another challenge and in 2010, Major7 was born.

It began as a unique twist blending both techno and psytrance elements to create the perfect sound to get the blood pumping and the feet moving. Using some of X-noiZe elements and adding in a dash of fresh future sounds, they have been rumored to have started the next generation of progressive trance. These days you can catch the boys touring all over the world and honing their craft through intense performances and addicting track releases. 2012 marked the year that they would drop their first album, ‘Rezonance‘, although up until then they had 2 major EP releases, ‘Coming Up‘ and ‘Heavy Doses‘, the first of which landed them high on the psytrance Beatport charts at number 2! Currently, they are working on their debut album that will be released by Iboga records.
Dreamstate attendees certainly don’t know what’s coming for them when the duo graces the stage this November! It will be without a doubt one of the most thrilling sets of the weekend. If you want something different and unique, I would suggest making your way over to whatever stage they take over and strap yourself in for a wild ride!
