Dreamstate SoCal 2016 | UCast

In honor of #TranceGiving, aka Dreamstate SoCal 2016, we want attendees to have the opportunity to get to know the talent who will be our “Trancegiving Tour Guides”. Each week, we will feature bio’s of four Dreamstate DJ’s as well as a set from one of their latest events or some recent releases so you can get to know them better. Next in our series is… UCast!

UCast:

Alexei Tsygankov, or as we know him, UCast, is a well-known Belarusian trance DJ with years of experience. His first single, “Through Depth”, was released in 2007 and he’s been soaring ever since. He’s had support from many amazing artists like Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fia, Sean Tyas, and many more. Along with receiving support from other successful artists, he has also released tracks on many well-known labels such as Future Sound of Egypt, Black Hole Recordings, and Who’s Afraid of 138 to name a few. In 2010, UCast launch his own record label called LiftedSounds Records. Although it has not been particularly active in a few years, it was very successful in releasing many great tracks for multiple artists. In 2015, UCast was part of the lineup for a very massive Trance event, FSOE 400 Belarus, to help celebrate 400 episodes of the well-known radio show, Future Sound of Egypt. His set there was packed with emotion and included some of the greatest uplifting vocal trance tracks that brought the ‘feels’ to listeners.

One of my favorite tracks from UCast was released last year on Monster Force. It’s called “Ramp” and it is a beautiful, energy packed track that leads into one of the best uplifting melodies that has ever graced my ears. It’s the epitome of an amazing uplifting tune. If you’re an uplifting trance lover like me, you’ll love this. It’s the type of track that brings goosebumps out of nowhere and I’m seriously hoping that he includes it in his set next month at Dreamstate SoCal so I can hear it live!

In 2009, UCast launched his wonderful radio show, Injection. It includes all of the latest and greatest tracks that he selects. The show airs every first Friday on the Digitally Imported Epic Trance cannel at 11:00 AM PST. You can listen to all of the episodes here.

UCast is an artist that I have not yet had the chance to see so I’m very pleased to say that I’m excited to catch him next month at Dreamstate SoCal. He is sure to put on an absolutely amazing set that is full of energetic trance tracks and uplifting trance tracks to dance the night away to. Hope to see you at his set!
