Catz 'n Dogz Celebrates 20 Years with Tunes and Tour

Catz ‘n Dogz toast to 20 years with the release of a double A-side remix EP and a compilation announcement as their tour ramps up!

This is a huge weekend for the Polish duo Catz ‘n Dogz. Not only are they gearing up to play Desert Hearts LA this Sunday, but they kick off the US leg of their world tour, which will take them to the wildest party cities in the states like Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, and Denver. The focus? A grand celebration for reaching the two-decade milestone. Along the way, the Pets Recordings bosses have ignited the party with eclectic releases like Escape From Zoo, Basic Colour Theory, Friendship, “Wave” with ZENSOFLY & Maxville, “Rave History,” and more. In fact, today, those two tracks have re-immerged with a little bit of a facelift.

Delivered as a double-A-side remix EP, Florence-based producer Matisa takes on “Wave” while Germany’s own Maruwa shakes up “Rave History.” When it comes to Matisa’s Pets Recordings debut, she takes the deep house tune and spices it up with playful organic percussion elements and enhanced energy overall. Maruwa also jumps on her label debut with vigor, taking the euphoric breaks track to new heights by pushing the tempo and adding psychedelic sound elements that will surely whisk bodies straight to the dancefloor.

Of course, this is only the beginning of the celebration as it has been revealed that the boys will deliver a 20-track compilation on May 12, featuring their biggest releases and remixes of tracks brought to fruition by Pets Recordings’ family and friends like RÜFÜS DU SOL, Solomun, Claude VonStroke, Gorgon City, and more. But it doesn’t stop there. Catz ‘n Dogz will also deliver another two-track remix EP on May 19 featuring Krystal Klear and Andres Campo.
