Lane 8 Announces Arrival of Spring with Latest Seasonal Mixtape

Grant Gilmore
Lane 8 2022

Spring might be a few weeks away officially, but Lane 8 is getting everyone in a groove and feeling the sunshine with his new mixtape.

It’s only been two months since Lane 8 released his Winter 2022 Mixtape for his devout followers to bask in, but much like anyone else looking forward to brighter and warmer days ahead – spring couldn’t come soon enough. Today, ahead of his set at CRSSD Festival Spring this weekend, the This Never Happened boss surprised everyone by dropping off his Spring 2023 Mixtape nearly three weeks before the season officially begins.

Lane 8’s Spring 2023 Mixtape is a welcomed gift during the cold final weeks of winter, with three hours of stunning originals, IDs, and curated selections from various artists that will titillate the senses. A whopping 23 IDs dominate this edition of his spring mixtape, which historically has helped showcase the sounds that will grace This Never Happened in the coming months – so fans of the label should certainly keep their ears peeled for those releases as they drop.

There are a plethora of stunning tunes found throughout the mix as well. Parallel Voices‘ “Drift,” Yotto’s “Just Over,” Joseph Ray’s “Give Me A Reason,” and Cristoph’s “Tha Music” are all found within the first half. The second half sees selections from the likes of Le Youth, Leaving Laurel, Bonobo & Jacques Greene, Lopezhouse, Luttrell, and Huminal enter into the fray for added effect.

Lane 8’s Spring 2023 Mixtape is out now on SoundCloud and other streaming platforms. Take a listen, check out the tracklist, and stay tuned for more from Lane 8 as we dive deeper into 2023!
