Factor B Lifts the Curtain on ‘Theatre Of The Mind’

Factor B has officially released his debut album Theatre Of The Mind and brings out his Highlandr alias to lift listeners through the clouds!

The trance scene would not be complete without the uplifting electricity of the one and only Factor B. Making his mark on the biggest labels on the planet including Black Hole Recordings, FSOE, Armada, and Subculture, happy tears flow like a river every time his music cuts through the atmosphere. It’s time to bust out the tissues because Factor B has smashed through a major milestone, unleashing his debut album Theatre Of The Mind, a dazzling package that takes us to the center of the Australian’s beating heart.

Factor B inspires shock and awe with a broad range of sounds from chill-out to the high octane spirit of 138 across the 20 tunes found on Theatre Of The Mind. He even busts out his progressive alias Highlandr to put us in the mood to groove. Of course, he’s brought along some friends to sweeten up the experience with Susie Ledge, Arielle Maren, and Cat Martin flexing their vocal skills with style and grace. Even the iconic John O’Callaghan drops by to whip our brain into a frenzy with “The Oath,” and Super8 & Tab serve up some nostalgia on the power-soaked tune “From Way Back.”

So, let’s dig into a few highlights before we send you off on your journey to trance heaven. Regarding the tender moments that invite the soul to mingle with the infinite universe, Highlandr takes us for an out-of-body experience with tracks like “Feel Surreal,” “Cascades,” and “Just For A Day.” These three offerings are drenched with ethereal emotion and will make you feel weightless and free. But Highlander also comes with an intense personality, with “On The Edge” pushing us off the edge to plummet into the abyss with “I Want You” and “Get High.”

Shifting over to the Factor B side of life, it’s time to throw your hands high to the sky and work those dancing feet. “So Far Away (My Love)” is the first of this group to knock me out of my socks and I know it will have the same effect on you. But once Cat Martin starts serenading the masses on “Move Mountains” all bets are off and the goosebumps arrive in full force. Follow that up with Arielle Maren’s stunning performance on “Connected” and be prepared to melt into the ground as the gorgeous melody tickles your brain into pure bliss.

These examples are just a drop in the bucket and when it comes to the totality of the record, Factor B leaves no stone unturned, exploring every crevice of his passion. In fact, Theatre Of The Mind holds a magnifying glass up to his profound expertise and raises the bar for everyone in the industry. It will leave you breathless and begging for more trance, the most inviting and emotionally moving genres ever created.

Enough with the tease, let’s get into the beats! Grab your copy of Theatre Of The Mind exclusively on Bandcamp, stream the album on Spotify starting Monday, October 4, and let us know what you think in the comment section.
