NotLö reminds us of why she’s one of the top rising artists in the bass scene right now with the Hallucination Effect EP on WAKAAN.

Although she’s one of the freshest faces in the scene, NotLö has already become an essential artist to catch on any lineup. This bass queen has been making waves and creating a name for herself with a flurry of singles and EPs, as well as her charity streams and live performances. With some dangerously enticing work already under her name, it’s hard not to crave more of NotLö and now she’s delivered another helping with the release of the Hallucination Effect EP on WAKAAN.

The Hallucination Effect EP is quite the experience for anyone who tunes in as NotLö takes everyone on a tumultuous experience filled with an adrenaline rush you’d get while riding a roller coaster. The titular track “Hallucination Effect” leads the charge on the trip into the world of NotLö’s creation and is a clear standout with its soothing, yet menacing intro, and vocals that guide you to another dimension. It carries you effortlessly through the door while simultaneously leaving you out of breath and ready for more.

The next track, “MAD” is a thirst-quenching collab with Mythm, a fellow 140 pioneer who is rising through the ranks as well. This tune puts the classic 140 sounds to the test, as the two artists put their best together in one complete package. It takes you into the depths of the darkest corners of your soul and makes you question your reality with resonating vocals that echo deep in the mind.

The third and final track “Dimensions” closes out the EP in style with its own hypnotizing elements that permeate its runtime. On this one, NotLö creates a blissful, brain-melting trip that listeners can’t help but succumb to with raw and moving sounds dominating all senses as the finish line of the release approaches.

The mind is taken through a portal to another world fused together by the sounds of NotLö, and the Hallucination Effect EP only further shows why this innovative, alluring artist is one who should be on your radar.
