Dreamstate SoCal continues to be the only trance-fueled events in the United States. The event brings out amazing artists whose music has brought us to a dreamlike state. We danced, we cried, we caught the feels, and we kept ourselves warm at chilly Dreamstate 2018.

This weekend brought out special performances, including Laserface, which made its debut on the festival scene showcasing Gareth Emery’s music and Anthony Garcia‘s stellar laser skills. Meanwhile, Ferry Corsten revamped his System F tracks to take us back through those “Out of Blue” days leaving us wanting even more. We even saw a sneak preview of Ciaran McAuley‘s new project, Holy Waters, with Roxanne Emery’s surprise performance of their upcoming song, “Little White Lies.”

As if that weren’t enough, there were a whole host of epic “VS” sets and special collaborations that set the Vision dancefloor on fire from Gentech, Astrophere, Chris Schweizer vs Heatbeat, Arctic Moon vs RAM, and so many more! With no more capacity issues for psytrance fans, The Sequence moved to the former Timeless tent in 2018. Here’s hoping they’ll continue to expand The Sequence stage for a 2019 edition of Dreamstate SoCal with psytrance continuing to grow.
