Ardalan provides the perfect house soundtrack leading into Movement weekend with his exclusive mix for the OK COOL After Party!

Iranian born and resident San Franciscan DJ and producer Ardalan Noghre-Kar, better known as Ardalan, has been hard at work bringing the Dirtybird sound to the masses.  Known for his ability to masterfully incorporate gritty bass lines with groovy house beats, he is bringing his talents to northern soul of the Midwest to participate in the festivities surround Movement Music Festival in Detroit.  Make no mistake, he is no stranger to the Motor City, having performed at a variety of parties in and around Detroit the past several years.

Ardalan sat down with us last year to discuss his new EP, All Night Long, and we are thrilled to have him back again to provide us with some amazing tunes to kick off the holiday weekend.

This year, he will be taking the stage at OK COOL, an official Movement after party that features a stacked lineup including Eats Everything, Tara Brooks, and more. The party will kick off after Day 2 of the festival at the TV Lounge, which is one of Detroit’s iconic venues.  Tickets are now into the fourth tier and will run you $30 plus fees; head over to Resident Advisor to get yours before they sell out!

Be sure to give Ardalan’s mix a listen and if you dig what you’re hearing, check him out at the OK COOL after party this weekend!
