Funk Tribu Launches 'Rituals' Compilation Series On TRIBE

**Funk Tribu is celebrating artists who are pushing sonic boundaries with the release of TRIBE’s new compilation, Rituals Vol. 1.**

Funk Tribu has carved out significant space in the scene with impressive performances and releases spanning trance, hard dance, bounce, and more. Yet the Colombian DJ and producer has aspirations beyond his own work, and through his imprint, TRIBE, he’s ushering in a new wave of talent who are pushing sonic boundaries.

To further the goals of TRIBE, which has become one of the most exciting labels in the scene, Funk Tribu has released the label’s first compilation, Rituals Vol. 1. “What I like about the compilation is that there wasn’t one specific way these tracks came together,” said Funk Tribu. “Each artist and track has its own story and connection to me, but somehow they all ended up fitting into the same ritual.”

The stories behind the artists on Rituals Vol. 1 are deep, with each one being represented by their handprint on the cover art. Vall Du Son first met the artist and label head at ADE in 2024, and his tracks have frequently found their way into his sets. His track “AGAWA” features airy vocals and a stuttered beat that’s perfect for peak hours on the dancefloor.

Up next is Hanaa, who was a more recent addition to TRIBE. Her song, “Looking For My Tribe,” is all about the search for people who you connect with and share the same frequency, which is something rare in the world. Its fast-paced groove and tribal elements make its soundscape stand tall.

Funk Tribu discovered Afem Syko while living in Bogotá, and after the two reconnected in Berlin, their connection grew. “KINETYKA” immediately stood out to the label head with the track’s throbbing bassline cutting through its otherwise airy atmosphere. Rounding out the collection is Supergloss, a mainstay at TRIBE events after an impressive show in Serbia. “Can’t Stop Dancing” captures the feeling of craving euphoric moments that keep your feet moving deep into the night and eventually, the early hours of the morning.
