Back in 2013, Kaskade played an epic set at EDC Orlando that led to a deeper love for electronic music and the scene for Jessica.
It is no secret that I have a lot of love for Kaskade, seeing as he played my very first rave event. If you have never caught one of his sets, you are surely missing out on an amazing experience. In the wake of his amazing performances at EDC Las Vegas 2018, why not relive one of his previous sets in this week’s edition of Throwback Thursday?
Ryan, better known as Kaskade, has the glorious capability to create unique melodies and has even been known to sing in some of his music. His releases have an uncanny way to transport you into another world by way of their energetic, uplifting and melodic vocals. The vocals he uses are completely euphoric, and it is no surprise that you can find yourself getting lost in the music when you listen to it. Each time one of his songs is played, it always puts a smile on my face and always brings me up regardless of the mood I’m in.
I wanted to share Ryan’s set from my very first Electric Daisy Carnival experience at EDC Orlando 2013.
This set was absolutely magical for me and helped solidify my love for electronic music. Some of my favorite songs are in this set, like “Atmosphere”, “Last Chance”, his remix of “Young & Beautiful”, and so many others. During his sets, you’ll always find yourself singing along while connecting with others in the crowd, and this one is no different.
Aside from the music that is featured throughout, it has been amazing to see how much this festival has changed since I first attended in 2013. The fact that EDC Orlando keeps transforming itself and welcoming more and more headliners each year is absolutely uplifting. I always love getting lost under the electric sky here in Orlando.
