Watch the Debut Performance of Porter Robinson’s VIRTUAL SELF!

Grant Gilmore

Porter Robinson debuted VIRTUAL SELF in Brooklyn on December 8. Watch the epic performance now!

After announcing the VIRTUAL SELF project back in October, die-hard Porter Robinson fans were anticipating some big things from their favorite artist. The release of “EON BREAK” sparked a wildfire of Porterfam scrambling to get every last detail possible about the project and slowly but surely more information surfaced.

November brought with it the release the self-titled EP under the alias, featuring five solid tracks that showed off the new style and direction that Porter was taking with his music. Fans were stoked for the release, along with the announcement that VIRTUAL SELF would be debuting at UTOPIA Brooklyn on December 8.

While many members of the Porterfam were able to make the trip to catch this performance, others were left waiting for glimpses of how the evening went down. Luckily for them, some dedicated members of the audience caught the set for the world to see. Fans were treated to opening performances by DV-i and Raito who both set the stage for what was to come. Check the performance below or watch the shorter 4k video with encore on YouTube!

After the show, before the encore, Porter also spoke about the project briefly and how he waited nearly two years to play this new material. Thank you, Twitter user @COOLGUYCDAWG for capturing this moment!
