BlackGummy
Kicking things off is a true rising star in the electronic music world. If you don’t know BlackGummy yet, you should really go check out this set at Escape this weekend as it will definitely be bringing you some deep, dark vibes. His debut EP was released on Mau5trap back in February, and he has gone on a meteoric rise in popularity as of late. Having a sound that reminds me of a better blend of REZZ and Deadmau5, this Icon Collective graduate is nothing short of amazing and I cannot wait to see him play live. This is probably one of the sets I’m most excited to catch this weekend, so don’t sleep on him! Check out his latest release, ‘Impactor EP’, which was dropped less than a month ago!

Kaskade
Okay, okay, okay, look…I know that Kaskade has dotted plenty of my lists in the past. I’m sure you have all seen him so many times by now that it is almost a joke to put him on here, but he’s back on the list once again. After having a red-hot summer that was full of sets that left many of us speechless, he is definitely one of the most solid picks for a quality set at Escape: Psycho Circus this weekend. In fact, I’m pretty much putting him here in hopes that his set takes a darker tone to really put a dot on that Halloween vibe. Coming off the official release of “Beneath With Me”, Skylar Grey’s chilling vocals really set the tone for some darkness in a set that would be fantastic to experience. When Kaskade and Deadmau5 make a track together, we all know that it’s just going to be something out of this world, and the unusual release of this track just made it more interesting.
Doc Martin
A true originator in the scene, Doc Martin has been around since I was in diapers. He is one of the most important house DJs that is still currently active in the scene, although you wouldn’t know due him being one of the most down to earth artists around. I have been honored to catch his sets a few times, most notably at the first edition of Factory 93, and he has always impressed. If you want to just let loose and dance then you should definitely let Doc Martin be your guide for the night. He is one of the true masters of the electronic music scene, and his list of shows, residencies, and releases speak for themselves.
Claude VonStroke
The head honcho in charge of Dirtybird Records, Head Counselor at Dirtybird Campout, and also America’s Top DJ of 2016, Claude VonStroke is a true leader through and through. Besides the fact that he is probably one of the most fun-loving artists that I have met, his beats are infectious and sets are always a great time too. Whether he is taking the stage as himself, Barclay Crenshaw, or in the duo with Green Velvet – Get Real, it is always worth checking him out if you can! I expect him to be bringing a dope tech house set to the Factory 93 stage this weekend, and hope to see you all there with me!
Eric Prydz
Words cannot express the awe-inspiring sets that Eric Prydz brings to the table every single time I see him live. Whether it is at the circuitGROUNDS at EDC Las Vegas, at Escape, or anywhere I have caught him in-between, he always brings the heat with his sets and lets me lose my mind for a little bit. Releasing music not as just Eric Prydz, but also Cirez D and Pryda, he is truly a king of progressive house and techno, and will be looked back on by future generations as one of the greatest artists we had a chance to experience live. You don’t have to believe me, but if you’re even remotely on the edge in deciding…check out his set from EDC Las Vegas 2015 below!
Borgore
Finally, to round out this list with some bass music is one of the kingpins of the dubstep scene, Borgore. As someone who re-entered the scene during the initial rise of dubstep in 2009, I hold Borgore and his take on the genre in high regard. His tracks are some of the filthiest around, and if you want your face makeup to melt off during a set, this will definitely be it. We are currently experiencing a bit of a renaissance of dubstep as of late, and Borgore has been instrumental in bringing that sound back to the forefront of the bass music scene. His recent release of “Daddy” was well received throughout the community, and really shows his dedication to dubstep. If you didn’t catch him on the Safe In Sound Tour then don’t miss out on him here!
