Groove Cruise is the OG of the “Festival On A Ship” genre. This year they’re setting sail on a 5 day journey with 120 hours of non-stop music to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In honor of the incredible adventure attendees will be embarking on, we want you to have the opportunity to get to know the talent who will be our “Taste Makers” for Groove Cruise Cabo (GCC). Orjan Nilsen

Orjan was born in Kirkenes, Norway, and like many, he grew up wanting nothing more than to fill his life with music. At a young age he was captivated by the trance genre and made it his life goal to become a successful trance producer/DJ. In 2011, Orjan released his first artist album titled ” In My Opinion” and announced to the world that he was a force to be reckoned with. Throughout 2011 and 2012 continued gaining fame from numerous track releases including “Amsterdam”, “Belter”, “Copperfield”, and “Filthy Fandango”. Orjan however, was only getting started. 2013 would be a defining moment in his career. This was the year he released his most notable track “No Saint Out Of Me”.

Orjan’s relationship with Armada Music has grown immensely since he started producing. Throughout his career Orjan Nilsen has become a staple on A State of Trance. It is this partnership with Armada that has allowed him to work with top DJ’s like Armin Van Buuren and Cosmic Gate. Through his career he has shown his prowess in releasing music that satisfies not only the hardcore trance addict but the mainstream dance music fan as well.
