Each week, we will feature bio’s of four Dreamstate DJ’s as well as a set from one of their latest events or some recent releases so you can get to know them better. Seventh in our series is…. The Thrillseekers!
The Thrillseekers:
Steve Helstrip, also known as The Thrillseekers, is no novice to the trance scene. If you’re a fan, you’ll know that Steve began making tracks many years ago. His first track was the famous Synaesthesia which was released in 1999 on Neo Records. The track has sold over one million copies. Along with many amazing singles over the years like Waiting Here For You in 2007 and The Last Time in 2008, Steve also started his own label called Adjusted Music. After its creation, Steve brought back Syanesthesia and Affinity and re-released them on the label as well as signed many other artist’s tracks. From 2005 to 2009, he released three different compilation CDs (NightMusic Vol 1 through 3). In 2010, he created his own show featuring his favorite tracks of the time which was called Live Xtreme.
Now, in 2016, Steve hasn’t slowed down on creating epic sets and beautiful productions for fans worldwide. This year has been a great one for him as he has released an original on his own label (Just Because) as well as a track on the Future Sound of Egypt label called Amber, under his side alias, Hydra. One of my favorite tracks is a beautiful Thrillseekers and Aly & Fila collaboration, labeled Es Vedra:

Steve recently played at Luminosity Beach Festival in June, where he displayed an astonishing 3 hour set portraying 15 years of trance. The set features classics by Above & Beyond from years ago, Steve’s own amazing classics, Solarstone, and more. It’s a beautiful set that takes you back to some amazing years in Trance and serves as a reminder of all of the epic, legendary tracks that have been created over the years.
