Aweminus releases three savage tracks and a MurDa remix!
Aweminus – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Heavy bass music and Never Say Die Black Label are practically synonymous, and this new EP from Aweminus is a testament to that. With a sound unlike any other, Aweminus incorporates his signature blend of dark and freakish bass into all four tracks of Astronaut Goodness EP.
While “The Festival of Blood” features gritty ripples, “Thot Eliminated” is a mixture of alien bass that’ll have you going full bass face. Be sure to check out MurDa’s remix of “Astronaut Training” — if you like headbanging riddim, then this is the track for you. Listen to Aweminus’ full Astronaut Training EP below!
Kyau & Albert and Genix team up for “Mantis” on Anjunabeats
Kyau & Albert – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Genix – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
The German duo Kyau & Albert have teamed up with Anjuna favorite Genix for their first collaboration “Mantis” and they’ve somehow found a perfect blend of their two distinct styles. Genix brings his signature sound to take command of the track, but it’s the subtle hints of Kyau & Albert’s synths and beats that perfects it for at-home listening or the mainstage.
Sunny Lax returns with “So Long” sparking those precious ABGT250 memories
Sunny Lax – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
After an impressive release with his Bad Bye EP last year, Sunny Lax returns in 2018 with two brand new tracks, including “So Long” – a personal favorite from ABGT250. The intro features pounding Anjuna-infused bass with Levente Márton’s impressive sound design before the song increases the tension heading towards its heavenly breakdown. If you’re looking for a track to soar through the clouds this weekend, this track is it.
UPRIZE says he needs to “Let U Go” on his recent Lowly Palace release.
UPRIZE – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
One of the best regions for electronic music on the West Coast, British Columbia has been churning out artist after artist over the years that have left us seriously impressed. Enter UPRIZE, an artist coming to your eardrums straight from Vancouver Island that has recently debuted his track “Let U Go” on Lowly Palace.
Just a freshman at the University of Washington, UPRIZE is an artist you should definitely be taking notice of as his organic productions will hypnotize listeners who tune in. Whether it’s the haunting vocals or the tempo that flips as the song progresses, “Let U Go” is a must-add to playlists for any bass music lover.
“It’s impossible for you to take your life, your work, and your relationship to where you truly what them to be if you are not willing to be uncomfortable in the process.” – UPRIZE
Medasin’s new remix will make you “Fall Apart”
Medasin – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Smack in the middle of Medasin’s first-ever headline tour, he’s dropped yet another amazing remix. If you’ve followed this young up-and-comer at all, you’ve probably heard his take on DJ Khalid’s “Wild Thoughts”. And if you’re like me, you’ve been sitting around for the past six months impatiently waiting for him to drop another banger.
Medasin’s remix of “Fall Apart” is what I, along with all my fellow Medasin fans out there, have been waiting for. It hits hard, triggers all the best feels, and on top of that, it’s catchy. I swear, I’ve had this song on repeat ever since it dropped a mere few days ago and you definitely will too. Make sure to give it a listen below and check out Medasin’s upcoming tour dates. If you’re lucky, he may be playing at a venue near you!
Borel’s “Abu” becomes the debut release on F/4 Records!
Borel – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Coming to you fresher than ever, brand new imprint F/4 Records is already making some moves in the tech house space. The label, which is run by ElezD and based in San Diego, has looked to Texas for their first release.
Dubbed “Abu”, the track from rising star Borel is a must-listen if you’re looking for a quality house jam. Featuring an infectious beat with some Middle Eastern influenced sounds, not only will this track transport you to a far-off caravan but also keep you dancing all night long.
Sound Design & Energy mesh in “Ascension”
Bensley – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Gravitating back to the creative landscape within Drum & Bass and finding a penchant for the dance floor, Bensley ascends from the everyday to the epic. Best of all the track exemplifies exactly how sound design impacts the flow of a track. Whether it’s the bits and bops that interlace within the rising synth that gives the track the characteristic its title explains or it’s the cinematic mood that strikes the introduction and break, “Ascension” offers a case study in using sound in unique ways while maintaining a commercial appeal.
Speaking of that appeal, you’ll note that nothing spares the dance floor sensibility and drive of the track – there’s no doubt you could hear this tune in any of a wide array of DnB DJ sets out there. “Ascension” release on the 9th so be sure to grab your copy today by clicking here. – MyStro
Synfonic gears up to “Awaken” your senses with their latest track
Synfonic – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Synfonic, who are known for their plethora of top ten tracks such as “Hatari”, “Inglorious”, and “Berzerker,” has just released a beast of a track! Fresh off the release of their mix of Pharmacy Plus’s Innovations Vol. 1, LA-based artists Synfonic has dropped their first release of the new year. “Awaken” is true to its name. The track truly heightens the senses through the psytech stylings. The track includes the rolling basslines heard in the psytrance world and infuses them with pure uplift and a hauntingly beautiful melody. Take the time to check out what is the best track Synfonic has released!
Just A Gent’s new release might throw your computer for a 404 error!
Just A Gent – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
The Australian artist has hit the ground running in 2018. Already booked for a number of festival appearances, including Beyond Wonderland, it is sure to be a big year for this up and coming producer. His most recent release “404” will take you back to the dial-up days when 404 error screens were mad present because technology couldn’t keep up with the speed we consumed information.
The track begins with eerie, seemingly, plucked synths and a lingering bass that crescendos when the drop comes. It is sure to make your brain error out for a second, but you’ll be wrangled back in by all the different sounds.
Ghasper’s “Satellite” is a harmonious and interstellar creation
Ghasper – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Being the first song on Ghasper’s recently released Minima EP you can immediately feel his style. It is a wonderful introduction to the way that he overlays deep beats against synth rhythms that lull you into comfort. I wouldn’t say it’s future but it definitely has some of that sound in its core. While the entire EP is definitely worth a listen “Satellite” is the perfect way to begin listening to this Las Vegas producer.
Move to the beat with i_o’s latest tune, “Body Rock”
i_o – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
One of the rising stars that has caught our ear over the past few months has been none other than i_o. Releasing on labels ranging from mau5trap to Bite This! he has made some serious waves across the house and techno scene. Now, he has released “Body Rock” for the masses and we can’t get enough of this infectious tune.
If this is any evidence of what is to come from i_o the rest of the year, expect to see him rise quickly as his productions are absolutely top notch. Listen to the track below and let us know what your thoughts are in the comments!
