Sunny Lax Releases Powerful ‘Bad Bye’ EP On Anjunabeats

Sunny Lax Bad Boy EP

Out now on Anjunabeats, Sunny Lax releases three emotional dance hits with his Bad Bye EP

Genix & Sunny Lax opened their ABGT250 set with the incredible track “Bad Bye” at the Gorge Amphitheater in September and received a warm welcoming from the crowd. Now just a month later, the Hungarian music producer has treated us with his first three track EP on Anjunabeats titled Bad Bye.

The title track “Bad Bye” opens with its heavy pounding bass and takes you on a journey with its atmospheric melody before bringing us back to earth with its grooving finisher. Featured on ABGT254, “Ceylon” soars to the skies with its subtle angelic vocal chops alongside its tear-jerking synths. Even though it wasn’t played during their B2B set, it still reminds me of being surrounded by my trance family at the Gorge.

Finally, rounding out the EP is “Greensight” with its psychedelic warped bassline intro before uplifting us to space with its heartwarming trance perfection. All three tracks come in their original radio edits or you can head over to Beatport and pickup the extended mixes for your DJing pleasure.

Above & Beyond favorite Sunny Lax hits it out of the park again with his beautiful melodies and progressive beats. This release comes soon after Genix & Sunny Lax released their highly sought after track “Arrival” – which was perfectly named for their debut at a Group Therapy milestone show.

If this EP is the basis for the quality that we can continue to expect from Sunny Lax, we’re excited to see what will come from a full-length album. Stream or purchase the Bad Bye EP on your favorite portal here.

Music is an integral part of Drew’s life, whether it’s listening to trance or house while working or at a festival. He’s always out to discover new and exciting sounds. When video games RollerCoaster Tycoon and Unreal Tournament were the hot new games, one of his friends that he knew through the community forums introduced him to trance on Digitally Imported and he soon fell in love with trance, happy hardcore, hardstyle and other fast BPM (beats per minute) genres.
