UKF Releases 2017 Drum & Bass and Dubstep Compilations

UKF has released their Annual Drum & Bass and Dubstep compilations, filled with 2017’s best and a handful of exclusives.

UKF has long been considered one of the dominant forces in the bass music scene. With a slew of releases from some of the finest in Drum & Bass and Dubstep, the label’s bona fides are unquestionable, and this year’s annual compilations are proof positive that whatever the label is doing, it’s working like gangbusters.

This year’s Drum & Bass compilation can be viewed as a celebration of sorts. 2017 was a remarkable year for the genre, characterized by what the label referred to as “a groundswell of collaboration, cross-pollination, and boundary breaking.”

The compilation reflects that tone entirely, featuring tracks from heavyweights such as Andy C and Noisia and relative newcomers such as My Nu Leng. UKF Drum & Bass 2017 also features four exclusive tracks from Flite, Hybrid Minds, Memtrix, and Hillsdom. Take a walk through the extraordinary year that has been 2017 with the 23-track behemoth, below.

Similarly, the label’s unshakeable support of Dubstep has been evident over the years as the genre has seen constant ebbs and flows in terms of popularity. Despite those unpredictable waves, UKF continues to put out some of the most innovative sounds in the scene, and the compilation features the same.

UKF Dubstep 2017 features a wide variety of big names, from Borgore to Flux Pavilion to Seven Lions. Much like its Drum & Bass counterpart, the compilation also features five tracks that you will only find contained therein, including tracks from Killsonik, Gentlemans Club, Axel Boy, Siskiyou, and Mark The Beast.

Erin Cropper

Erin has been listening to electronic music on and off since the early 2000s, which is when trance music captured her heart and soul. Over the years, she has expanded into a number of other styles and genres, especially techno and house. Originally from Chicago, she spent the better part of the last decade seeking out any electronic music she could find, and traveled the length of the country in search of some incredible moments at festivals like EDC, TomorrowWorld, and the Dirtybird Campout. Having since settled in Denver, she focuses her energies primarily on the house and techno scene around town and traveling to mountain and west coast festivals whenever possible.
