Practice Your Daily 'Affirmations' with Autograf

**Dynamic duo Autograf offers up Affirmations in the form of a 13-track album featuring collaborations with Sian, Burko, Dan Soleil, and more!**

Affirmations has been a project a year in the making, both in the studio and on tour. In March of 2022, Autograf began to release a flurry of singles that would ultimately make their way to the album, first with “Love Runs Deep” featuring Tiina, and most recently, “La Petite Mort” alongside Sian and Burko. In total, fans got their hands on ten of the 13 tunes ahead of time, and this weekend the journey crossed the finish line as the duo celebrates on the Club Vinyl Rooftop in Denver.

This album is the second that Autograf has unleashed via Armada, following The Ace Of You, which gave music lovers something to cherish as we were all deeply entrenched in the global pandemic. For this go-round, they turn us inward to discover the light and heal our inner child. They’ve brought a team of music makers to aid in the process, including Dan Soleil, your friend polly, Johanson, Blonde Maze, and more. Within, you’ll come face-to-face with multiple musical personalities, from serious melodic techno masterpieces to straightforward house bops and electro-pop to balance the emotion.

Like most people, we struggle with our own doubts and insecurities. We all live life with a bit of imposter syndrome: ‘I’m not a real musician, I’m not an artist.’ Along the way, we’ve come to realize that we needed to change the story in our minds to become who we aspire to be, which led us to this album. ‘I am confident, I am creative, I am an amazing artist.’ Daily affirmations changed our entire outlook on our craft and ourselves, and we found that once we believed in the power of affirmations, we started to become those things.

While the world has been privy to much of Affirmations’ contents, let’s look at the previously unreleased soundscapes. We’ll begin with the opening track, “Runaway.” This feel-good tune requests that listeners avoid their insecurities, blending smooth vocals with zippy instrumentals for that extra push. “Like This” flips the vibe, featuring smoky sound elements and a tempting vocal that challenges listeners to a dance-off. With the body feeling physically fit, Autograf directs us to shake off our final inhibitions with “Voodoo,” a magical collaboration with San Diego’s Burko. The organic elements and rapid-fire synths snatch the attention, allowing the deep hair-raising undertone to sneak into every cell of the body.

The Affirmations Tour is still cooking, and they’ll be dropping by INVY Nightclub in Indianapolis, IN, this Thursday, August 24. From there, they’ll head to Austin, Houston, and Kansas City, before capping the tour off in Chicago at Smoke & Mirrors on September 30.
