Portola Festival Releases Massive Lineup for Debut Edition

The Chemical Brothers, Flume, Kaytranada, Jamie XX, Lane 8, and more have been announced to play the debut edition of Portola Festival.


San Francisco has continued to get blessed with some fantastic festivals and events for dance music lovers to attend and now in the wake of Coachella, Goldenvoice has announced a fresh experience – Portola Festival. Set to make its debut on September 24-25 at Pier 80, this 21+ festival is already catching plenty of attention with the release of its lineup that’s filled to the brim with some of the best and brightest in the scene right now.

Headlining Portola Festival are two acts in the electronic music space that have a plethora of accolades under their belts, Flume and The Chemical Brothers. While those two performances are sure to be ones that attendees won’t want to miss, the undercard for this festival is jam-packed with even more talented artists. This includes Kaytranada, Jamie XX, Fred Again.., Jungle, Charli XCX, Fatboy Slim, M.I.A., James Blake, Lane 8, and Peggy Gou, all of whom have delivered some fantastic performances and releases as of late.

Other artists who stand tall on the list include Caribou, Gorgon City, Duke Dumont, SG Lewis, Yaeji, The Blessed Madonna, and L’Imperatrice. There will be some special performances as well such as Four Tet and Floating Points playing together, as well as an appearance from Keinemusik featuring &Me, Rampa, and Adam Port who are sure to dominate the decks.

Single-day passes for Portola start at $199.95 (+fees), with two-day passes at $299.95 (+fees) and VIP passes at $399.95 (+fees). Hotel packages are also available for those who are heading to the festival from out of town, and payment plans are available for all ticketing options.
