Swedish House Mafia Kicks Off 2022 with “One Symphony”

Swedish House Mafia teams up with composer Jacob Mühlrad to reconstruct their iconic track “One” and give it an orchestral twist.

While last year was filled with plenty of ups and downs, something that brought a smile on the face of dance music lovers around the world was the news that Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello would be coming back together once again as Swedish House Mafia. Their reunion kicked off with the release of “It Gets Better” and “Lifetime” with Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake, along with the news that a new album from the trio would arrive in 2022 as well.

This was paired with the news that they’re set to return to Coachella in April and head out on the Paradise Again world tour that will take them to cities like Oslo, Vancouver, Miami, Lisbon, Zurich, and more in the summer. And if that wasn’t enough, Swedish House Mafia looked to one of the biggest artists in the music scene, The Weeknd, to deliver “Moth To A Flame” for their fans to feast on as well.

Prior to the end of the year, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello gifted their fans with a present for the end of the year as well – a new version of their iconic track “One.” Looking back to how they created the classic years ago, they asked celebrated Swedish art music composer Jacob Mühlrad to recompose the track in an orchestral way. The result of those efforts has now arrived in the form of “One Symphony,” and it’s a stunning recreation that will sweep Swedish House Mafia fans off their feet.

We first created ‘One’ like an orchestra where each note played an intricate role in the piece. Years ago we spoke with Jacob Muhlrad to see how it would sound in his world. With that said, we are honoured to give you the powerful recomposition of ‘One’ as ‘One Symphony’.
