Space Wizard Unleashes Massive Three-Track EP 'Prometheus'

The latest creation from Space Wizard, Prometheus, is filled to the brim with dynamic bass sounds that’ll send listeners straight to the moon.

We’ve seen an immense rise in the underground over the last year from new artists and old, and one who has consistently stood out is the Space Wizard. This young producer time and time again has blown fans away with his pursuit of dynamic sounds on releases like The Marble Room and “The Maze Guardian” making him a force to be reckoned with. Now, he’s continuing to show off his passion with the release of his recent creation, Prometheus.

Out now via Cyclops Recordings, Prometheus consists of three visionary tracks, each one bringing forth addictive energy that sucks listeners in the moment they begin. As well as the solo Space Wizard tunes, Mize also makes an appearance on the second track and layers in his style on “Harrier.” When these two combine their production styles the outcome is unreal as they pack the track full of beautiful distortion and grumbles so loud it could wake the dead.

Each piece of this creation stood out in its own way, but one track that really tickled our fancy was “Pyramids.” The static-like bass rings through the ears and puts a smile on your face. You can feel the energy that Space Wizard poured into it and the vocal samples added in just give it that extra oomph to blast you off. While most of the EP leans on the heavier side, the title track switches things up a bit. Ending the EP on a calmer note, Space Wizard eases listeners out of the wild ride they were taken on throughout the first two tunes.
