Maddy O’Neal announces her forthcoming album, VITAL SIGNS, and shares its lead single, a collaboration with ProbCause called “Locked In.“

Diversity runs deep in Maddy O’Neal‘s artistry, and it’s one of the many reasons the community loves her. With a sound that effortlessly combines funk, hip-hop, and electronic music elements, Maddy’s creations resonate in a space where energy meets emotion. Her distinctive productions and performances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and more have captivated audiences worldwide, making her name rise further to the top with each set.

As she continues her ascension in the scene, Maddy O’Neal has shared the news of her next album, VITAL SIGNS, to add another accomplishment to her long list. The raw experience of personal evolution inspired her latest work, which everyone can relate to. This album will be no different from her other creations as it is promised to be filled with various genres and soundscapes for fans to explore.

To give a little taste of what is coming, “Locked In” has been deemed the initial single. For this track, Maddy O’Neal teams up with one of her long-time friends, ProbCause. Once you press play, you are transported back in time, led by synths that will have you feeling like you’re back in the ’80s. But on this journey, there isn’t only one timeline you reach as worlds collide with futuristic sound design elements. Mash that with emotive lyrics; this track will have listeners locked and loaded, ready to take on anything that comes their way.

“Locked In” seemed to be the appropriate first single for the new record. I teamed up with one of my oldest friends in the industry, ProbCause, for this banger, and it felt like a full circle moment.
