Arnold & Lane Bring Swagger on 'Buck' EP

LA-based duo Arnold & Lane are back on Dirtybird Records shortly after going buck wild with the flock at CampINN!

Arnold & Lane are just getting back from the raucous fun they had during their Bird Bath set at Dirtybird CampINN, and they want to continue riding the high. So, they’ve dropped off a brand-new EP that the flock will surely go crazy for! The two-tracker is titled Buck, and marks their fifth offering on the imprint, almost a year after their last Dirtybird signing, “Bing Bong Baby,” for the 2022 edition of the Dirtybird Campout Compilation.

In order to get ready for this EP, one must strap on their most comfortable dancing shoes and let go of any and all inhibitions because it’s about to get weird. “Buck” crashes the party with the Dirtybird tech house quirk we all know and love, featuring Lane’s vocals dripping with sass. From beginning to end, listeners will lose themselves in the woozy bassline wub and galvanizing high-hat. The boys take it one step further with the Dub Mix, pulling back on the lyrics to focus on pure auditory absurdity.

The b-side keeps the booties workin’ and twerkin’, and it better with a name like “Werkem!” The moment you smash the play button, the inebriating melodics work their way into the psyche, making for a super-lit dance session. As the unhinged elements sizzle and spark, the ears are treated to rallying lyrics, tempting the consumer to pull out moves they didn’t know they had in them. Truth be told, this witty track translates as a body-sculpting cardio workout of the Dirtybird design!
