Sound Haven will “return to their roots” for their 2023 edition by heading back to their original home at Jaceland.
Following a special year at the Catoosa Event Center in 2022, Sound Haven Festival has announced its return to its beloved old venue, Jaceland, in Whitwell, Tennessee. The 2023 edition is set for July 20-23 and will mark a major milestone for the festival as it marks its fifth year of existence.
When inflation hit, among other challenges for independently-run events like this one, Sacred Hive founder Jered Ardry was unsure if the event would be able to return for 2023. After exploring his options, he wouldn’t settle for handing off his festival to one large entity, as his entire vision for Sound Haven is for it to remain a community-based event. They were able to keep it that way by joining forces with the support of long-time Sound Haven supporters Wobble Factory and Kouch Kollective.
Sound Haven never fails to bring incredible bass-fueled lineups to rural Tennessee with only the best in designer sound. While the lineup for this year’s edition is yet to be released, last year brought headliners Jade Cicada, Detox Unit, Rusko, and Minnesota, as well as some of the hottest names in underground bass music like Distinct Motive, EAZYBAKED, Salty, ENiGMA Duz, and more.
There are also a number of acts who love the Sound Haven community so much that they return to play year after year, and fans will be hoping to see on the lineup again like The Widdler, Chief Kaya, Smoakland, and the rare treat of a sunrise set from Super Future. Be sure to stay locked into Sound Haven’s socials to be the first to know when the lineup drops.
The pre-sale for Sound Haven 2023 will begin at 12pm CT on Monday, March 20. Codes will be emailed to past ticket-buyers automatically, and anyone can sign up to receive a pre-sale code via the Ticketing Co.
