Rising Arizona-based producer Yahra returns to 3rd Avenue with his progressive-fueled debut EP on the imprint, Lightly.

Yahra is an up-and-comer known for his unique live sets that are filled with deep cuts. With a solid following in his home state Arizona, he has showcased his talent in support of world-renowned names like Andrew Bayer, Booka Shade, Jody Wisternoff, Luttrell, Two Lanes, and many others. This rising artist has released music on Flug Lab, Re:Sound Music, and The Purr in the past, and now he’s made his return to 3rd Avenue with his latest body of work.

Out now across all platforms, the two-track Lightly EP expands on Yahra’s previous works with a more layered, progressive approach while building on the momentum he’s built over the last two years. He begins his quest for individuality with the title track, “Lightly,” which features an atmospheric soundscape with complex percussion patterns and ethereal vocal hooks that draw you in completely. Simply put, it’s the perfect song to soundtrack your day or to play when getting lost during his club sets at night.

Complementing the title track is “isec,” another tune that displays some playful synth elements and a blanket of strings over a groovy bassline. The layers of sounds and its effortless flow make it hypnotic at its core, keeping you bopping all throughout your day as it plays.

Lightly is a refreshing, breezy release you can listen to on the go or at home. It’s the perfect sound to pair with an outdoor hike on a beautiful spring day and invokes feelings of wanderlust. Yahra’s upward trajectory will land him in the hearts of more listeners in the coming years, so keep your eye out for a chance to see him live to experience the journeys he creates. Until then, check out the full EP on your favorite streaming platform, and let us know what you think on Twitter!
