Entel has officially unleashed Melodies In Harmony on Deep State Recordings, the imprint’s first full-length artist album!
Grum’s imprint, Deep State Recordings, has been melting hearts and burning up the dancefloor since its emergence back in 2020 with a spicy two-track heater from Kane. Since then, the progressive industry has kept its eyes and ears planted firmly on the dazzling new brand, while Deep State’s Reactor series helped increase the buzz. Along the way, they’ve collected a colorful cast of characters to stretch musical creativity to the max, including OMAIR, Local Dialect, Erik Lucas, and today’s focus, Entel.
Entel is no stranger to Deep State, first appearing on the label with his self-titled EP in 2021. Now, one year later, the label has felt the urge to level up, thus searching out talent for their very first full-length artist album. Entel has ultimately been gifted with this responsibility to the delight of fans across the globe. What has come out of his studio is a solid ten-track mood lifter focused on serenading the soul, appropriately titled, Melodies In Harmony!
When it comes to the concept for the album, Entel looked deep within to design a soundscape that is nothing short of “authentic, real, and emotional.” His team goes on to say that “this record represents the reason he fell in love with music in the first place, a reminder that music can bring a source of balance and peace to life when things get a bit chaotic.” With his beautiful inspiration revealed, it’s time to turn up the volume and fall into the rhythm.

Entel proves he was the right choice for Deep State’s latest chapter, setting the tone with power and grace.
“Crisis,” featuring Luke Coulson, kicks off the journey, featuring a melancholy storyline paired with a gentle yet confident bassline drive. This track is here to get the muscles warmed up as the floaty melody opens up the spirit for the expected release. There’s nothing better than relatable lyrics, and “Crisis” will have everyone singing along with its sense of brutal honesty and passion.
“Akai,” featuring Eileen Jaime, matches the energy of the former but ups the ante with a bright percussion element. But the true highlight comes in the sweeping vocal that pierces through the grand melody, making for one heck of an awakening. We can only hope that the next offering is just as bold. While “Belong Here” doesn’t match the weightless euphoria delivered by “Akai,” it certainly serves a deliciously dark and mysterious undertone.
“Eternity,” a collaboration with Riascode, continues to pull back on the established energy, and you may begin to realize that this album is designed with well-thought-out peaks and valleys. For this offering, OVA offers up her unyielding vocal prowess, and within seconds the room will be soaked in her sweet emotion. It’s one of those tunes that just feels great on the ears, switching the mind off to enjoy a gorgeous daydream.
But, just as things settle down, “Court St” pumps up the power for the peak.
“Court St” is the heaviest track of the lot thus far, featuring deep synth blares, warm piano accents, and a hypnotic vocal that lures the body to the dancefloor. Now fully invested and ready to rock, “Falling In” takes over the speakers. Eileen Jaime is back, with plans on flying listeners to the moon with her attention-stealing tone while the electrified techno rhythm welcomes the midnight hour.
Entel has his head in the right place to keep the tempo burning bright on “Dream State.” This incredibly edgy track blends chopped-up vocal details with serious underground vibes. This makes for the perfect setlist addition when you want the club to turn away from the stage and hone in on the magic happening all around the party. “Error” continues on this trajectory, pulling the room further into madness as sweaty bodies spin and contort.
Now that the atmosphere is completely unglued, where will Entel take us next? He answers that question with a bit of a lift, taking the mood from the underground to flighty and ethereal on “Korriban.” The bassline kick and top-end details remain effervescent, yet it weaves a daring wormhole via a prominent sound pulse that billows and rolls through the airwaves.
Unfortunately, all great things must come to an end, and Entel decides to circle back to the opening vibe for his final offering.
It seems as if “Rhiannon” came out of the same wheelhouse as “Crisis” when it comes to synth character and general vocal styling. But, this makes sense when it comes to tying the album’s multi-faceted style together. What began as a lighthearted flight to progressive paradise turned into a romp through a dark rave dimension, and now it’s only appropriate that we land safely on solid ground. Entel did Deep State justice with a package of beats that tap into the imagination while inspiring the body to let go and groove!
