Grum announced the second volume of Deep State’s Reactor series with the release of its lead single – Erik Lucas’ “Aim At Heaven.”

The past few years have been absolutely marvelous for fans of Grum as the beloved DJ and producer delivered a flurry of releases including albums such as Heartbeats: Ten and Human Touch, along with recent EPs Isolation and Reconnection. He’s also begun to take the stage again at festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Dreamstate SoCal with his stunning soundscapes in tow. But that isn’t all that Grum has been working on either as his label, Deep State, continues to become the place-to-be for rising artists in the realm of progressive and melodic house and techno.

Last year, Grum showcased his immense tastemaking abilities by curating the first volume of Deep State’s compilation series, Reactor, and featured a bevy of surreal tunes. Now, as the final days of 2021 approach, he’s announced the initial details for the second volume of the series that’s due out on January 21, 2022 – and it’s already shaping up to be another absolute stunner.

While the complete tracklist remains a mystery, the first tune to be featured has arrived in style with Erik Lucas at the helm. This rising star in the scene might be familiar to those who have kept a close eye on Deep State’s releases this year, as previously he teamed up with Frank Bono to craft up “Genesis” and “Dark Horse.” For this go-around, he’s brought forth even more serene progressive sounds on “Aim At Heaven,” an absolutely gorgeous tune that helps set the stage for what’s to come on the rest of Reactor Vol. 2.

That’s not all that Grum had in store to celebrate the release of Reactor‘s second volume as he’s set to take the stage on January 21 at Soundcheck in Washington DC. Joining him for the night out is Paul Thomas, so make sure to lock in your tickets now via Ticketmaster because you won’t want to miss this show!

Listen to Erik Lucas’ “Aim At Heaven” on Spotify or your preferred platform, and make sure to pre-save Reactor Vol. 2 ahead of its release on January 21!
