High Zombie Stuns on ‘Break My Bones’ EP

Rising bass artist High Zombie reminds us of why he’s on the come up with a surprisingly versatile two-track EP, Break My Bones.

Fairly new to the mainstream scene, High Zombie is an artist that has been working silently but quickly picking up the pace. This Colorado-based artist has been growing and gaining recognition left and right, along with some unbelievable opportunities such as playing EDC Las Vegas. First catching our ear after his feature on Subsidia‘s Night Vol. 5, it was easy to see why he was piquing interest. Now, fresh off his Wasteland EP release, High Zombie isn’t taking any breaks as he shows us what else he can bring to the table with his newest release, the Break My Bones EP.

Although it clocks in at just two tracks, Break My Bones packs a punch and brings raw, moving emotions along with it – we guarantee that you’ll crave more of his sounds after hearing this release. The EP begins with the titular track, “Break My Bones,” which starts off slow and steady with echoing vocals to bring up the energy. Catching listeners by surprise, High Zombie switches up the pace quickly with harder BPM taking over. This tune will have listeners bouncing and punching the air as the song picks up again with hard kicks and high energy to match. It’s a testament to High Zombie’s versatility as an artist.

The second track, “Way Too Loud,” takes a more melodic approach. With an intense buildup and hypnotic vocals, listeners will be drawn into the artistry of this song. The vocals especially have a melancholic tone to them that evokes fierce emotion, and the combination of vocals and synths creates a larger-than-life atmosphere making you wish you were experiencing it live. Hopefully, fans will get the chance to experience it soon.
