GRiZ Lights Up the Holidays with 8th Annual 12 Days of GRiZMAS

Electro-funk superstar GRiZ returns to his hometown for the 12 Days of GRiZMAS featuring music, food, and good vibes for a charitable cause.

Detroit native and saxophone master GRiZ has become a tried and true gem of the electronic music community. His aura of good vibes, promotion of safe spaces at shows, and endless delivery of festival-fit bangers have made him one of the most influential artists today. This year, GRiZ has been busy with performances at Summer Camp while also showcasing his curation efforts at GRiZMAS in July and Another World to bring his loyal fanbase together.

Now, with the holidays approaching, GRIZ announced the return of the beloved 12 Days of GRiZMAS, which has raised over $300,000 in donations since its inception. Beginning on December 1, this run of experiences will see a flurry of workshops, uniquely-themed events, and more to raise money for music education and programs in Detroit as GRiZ work closely with Seven Mile.

This includes everything from Killer Crafts & Cocktails with Spotlite Detroit and the Charity Dodgeball Tournament to Rainbow Roller Disco and a Local Mic Night for everyone to check out. The Jazz Jam, Global Charity, and Team Trivia livestreams will also be ones not to miss for anyone looking to add some fun to their week from December 2-9.

Of course, it wouldn’t be 12 Days of GRiZMAS without some shows from the man himself, and he’s putting a cap on the festivities with three days of music on December 10-12. Joining him for those nights are a bevy of talented artists including Level Up, Jantsen, Mize, and Veil, so don’t sleep on these shows if you want to shake off the winter chill.

Additionally, GRiZ announced that those in Detroit can head to the pop-up shop to donate to the ongoing coat and toy drive, bid on charity auction items, and purchase exclusive merch. This year he’s also teamed up with Detroit’s Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company to offer a special GRiZMAS 2021 Blend that features beans from Brazil and Peru with 100% of proceeds going to Seven Mile as well.
