House music maestro Sonny Fodera has announced his forthcoming album Wide Awake and delivered his latest single, “Angel.”

When you take a look at some of the house music scene’s most dynamic producers, Sonny Fodera is a name that should be included in the conversation. Over the years he has consistently impressed with albums like Rise, while also gifting the world with singles including “Moving Blind” with Dom Dolla and “We Work It” with Gene Farris. But that isn’t all that Sonny Fodera has been up to either, as he’s graced the decks at countless nightclubs and festivals while also heading up his imprint, Solotoko, to further propel other artists as well.

Although Sonny Fodera’s rise to even greater heights was slowed due to the pandemic, it didn’t stop him from keeping everyone moving to the beat while in quarantine. He released a flurry of singles including “One Night” with MK and Raphaella, “Wired” with Ella Eyre, and “Turn Back Time” with Diplo, while blossoming even more this summer by dropping “Nah” with KOLIDESCOPES and Sinead Harnett. All of these tunes saw serious success on streaming platforms and showcased Sonny Fodera’s immense abilities as a collaborator – and now they’re landing on his forthcoming album Wide Awake.

Due out on October 22, Wide Awake is a collection of 14 tunes from the minds of Sonny Fodera and a flurry of talented artists that will only further help usher in the new era of the scene now that we’re all getting back to dancing. Paired with the news of the album comes his latest single, “Angel,” which sees the house maestro team up with Clementine Douglas to create a track filled with soulful vocals and a groovy beat that’s dripping with disco vibes. It’s the perfect track to play during a late-night set or while you’re driving around town while heading to your next party – you simply can’t help but bob your head to this one.

Listen to “Angel” (feat. Clementine Douglas) on Spotify or your preferred platform, and make sure to pre-save or pre-order Wide Awake ahead of its full release this fall.
