Sonny Fodera

House music maestro Sonny Fodera has delivered some groovy tunes that are perfect for the summer season on his latest release, Rise.

One of the artists who has been keeping crowds grooving all day and night with some solid house beats is none other than Sonny Fodera. Known for his massive sets and imprint Solotoko, he’s now unveiled his latest release for the world to feast their ears on, Rise.

Clocking in at 12 tracks in total, Rise is the culmination of the hard work that Sonny has put forth in the studio over the past three years. From start to finish the album is full of house tunes that have the perfect blend of infectious grooves, vocals, and a touch of bass that will keep listeners coming back for more.

To me, the vocal-driven nature of this album takes things to the next level and dare I say makes it Rise to the top. Whether it is “Creeper” that sees him work with Scrufizzer for a track that’s more hip-hop oriented, “Been A Long Time” that evokes classic house vibes with powerful vocals from Alex Mills, or “The Moment” with Lilly Ahlberg that really hits hard, each tune stands tall on its own merits.
