Throughout the week, we’ve been hosting a playlist mini-series, where the greatest curators in the universe deliver the freshest beats from every stage at EDC Las Vegas to the most important headliner: you. So far, we dove into the diverse sounds cosmicMEADOW, the deep and groovy basslines of neonGARDEN, the ground-shaking bassPOD, and the ethereal trance of quantumVALLEY. Today, we’re shifting gears to the speedy, high octane beats of wasteLAND, hosted by Basscon.
This is the stage to get your fix of distorted kicks, drifting screeches, and melodies that open up the gates of Hard Dance Heaven (or Hell). Practice your Hakken, and strap in for what is sure to be the most hectic stage to be at! Dedicated warriors that gather at the apocalyptic wasteLAND will be welcomed by European legends and American newcomers alike. You’ll “Lose Your Mind” to the sounds of Wildstylez and Atmozfears, and ascend to the heavens with the euphoric melodies of Toneshifterz, Da Tweekaz, Code Black, and Shei.
If you have a preference for the raw side of hard dance, EDCLV has you covered with the murderous beats of Adaro, Sub Zero Project, Gunz For Hire, and Audiofreq. Get obliterated by the ground-and-pound sounds of Dr. Phunk and a special B2B between Darksiderz and MROTEK. Test the limit of your endurance with the (happy) hardcore beats from LIL TEXAS, Water Spirit, Noize Suppressor, Mad Dog, and Tweekacore.
EDC Las Vegas would not be what it is without surprise performances and legendary B2B sets. Gammer will make a return to the wasteLAND stage with an “HD” set, and we can only wonder what it will be. This year, you can also catch the Godfather of hard trap SAYMYNAME, throwing down a special hardstyle set. In addition, Blvckjesus, Crime Family, and WSHNGTN will be playing a massive B3B set showcasing the best of American hardstyle.
Last but not least, wasteLAND shines a spotlight on North American producers that are pushing the boundaries of hard dance. Jump up to the energetic styles of TYEGUYS and GEO. Welcome newcomers to the lineup Illuminize and SOREN, and support the pioneers that came before them, Junkie Kid and Lady Faith.
