LA Riots and Max Styler debut on Gorgon City’s REALM with their latest tune “I Call That Love,” featuring vocals from Laura White!
Something special was beginning to brew back in 2019 when Max Styler joined forces with famed songwriter Laura White on the Dim Mak party pumper “Let Me Take You There.” Two years later, he’d find himself working with fellow producer LA Riots for a dancefloor heater called “Run.” It was only a matter of time that the three artists would converge on a release together and tomorrow they make their REALM debut with “I Call That Love.”
But, before we get into the exclusive premiere, let’s get to know a little bit about the producers. LA Riots got his start back in 2007 with the goal to blend Indie Rock, Alt Dance, and electro in a way that would set him apart as aggressive and rebellious – which gained attention from tastemakers and other artists alike. Max Styler is an artist that has graced stages at festivals and nightclubs, winning over the hearts of the dance community with his ferocious production prowess along the way. He’s only further continued his domination with releases like 2020’s Body High that was packed with stunners.
When it comes to Laura White, writing music is what she was always meant to do. She achieved critical acclaim for her Grammy-nominated song “New York Raining” by Rita Ora and co-wrote with Galantis on their smash hit “Love on Me”. Her soulful song “Nobody” attests to her boundless talent and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her on “I Call That Love,” as she continues to make beautiful waves throughout the dance music industry.
I wrote the song originally with some friends of mine, Brunelle and I knew the song was special the second I started to write it! When I sent the topline to Max Styler & LA Riots they teamed up and turned it into an absolute masterpiece of a record. It’s such a great summer record, I’m so excited!
