Armin van Buuren Reveals the All-Time A State of Trance Top 1000 List

As A State Of Trance inches closer to its 1000th episode, Armin van Buuren has curated the top 1000 tunes that have graced the show.

Over the past two decades, the trance community and dance music lovers as a whole have tuned in to A State Of Trance to get a taste of the newest tracks and certified classics in the scene. Led by legendary DJ and producer Armin van Buuren, the show has grown to include curated events celebrating milestones, stage takeovers, and more, while also adding in co-hosts like Ruben de Ronde and more recently a residency featuring Ferry Corsten.

This year marks the biggest celebration that ASOT has seen yet as they continue on their path to reach that magic 1000th episode, it’s sure to be another stunner. The ASOT1000 festivities kick-off when the 999th episode ends on January 14 at 10pm CET as a seven-day-long countdown stream will begin on their Twitch and YouTube channels.

Those who tune in will be guided by Armin van Buuren, Ruben de Ronde, and Ferry Corsten as they look back on the past 20 years. The run of shows will feature ASOT year mixes, exclusive interviews, and fan videos. Of course, there will be plenty of music as well as they spin the Top 1000 tracks played on ASOT of all time that were voted on by fans.

To help get you in a groove and so you can listen at your leisure, they’ve curated a playlist as well that showcases nearly every song from artists that include everyone from Chicane and Richard Durand to Giuseppe Ottaviani and Mat Zo. Then, on January 21 at 5pm CET the stream will transition into the 1000th episode where the trio of hosts will run through the missing top 50 to celebrate in style. Those who tune in will want to pay close attention as well, as more details surrounding the ASOT 1000 celebrations will be delivered during the show.
