Anjunadeep Announces ‘Reflections Vol. 2’ with Lead Single

Anjunadeep is diving deeper into the ambient, downtempo realm with the second volume of their Reflections series that’s due out on January 13.

Last year saw the chilled out styles of electronic music truly take hold as the world descended into uncertainty. The sounds of downtempo and ambient artists helped keep many centered in the face of the pandemic, offering up peaceful moments amidst the madness that was otherwise unavoidable. While artists like Moby and ATTLAS leaned into that sound, labels like Anjunadeep also curated unique soundscapes as well with the debut of their Reflections compilation.

Released back in October, the first volume of Reflections featured artists like Qrion and Lane 8 who delivered a slice of serenity with their tunes. Now, Anjunadeep has kicked off the new year by pressing on into the world of chillout with the announcement of Reflections Vol. 2 that’s due to arrive on January 13.

Featuring tracks from Kidnap, Jody Wisternoff, Lycoriscoris, and Luttrell among others, Reflections Vol. 2 is clearly shaping up to be a soothing release that will satiate souls upon its full release. Also included is the full release of Croquet Club’s “Night Lights,” which previously found a home on Anjunadeep 09, as well as “Don’t Bite” the debut single from REVE D’ELLE, a new musical project by Fur Skillman of Eli & Fur. An ode to vulnerability, Anjunadeep delivered this tune ahead of next week’s drop to give everyone a taste of what’s to come, and it’s definitely worth a listen.

Check out the music video for “Don’t Bite” by REVE D’ELLE or listen on your preferred platform, pre-save Reflections Vol. 2 ahead of its release, and let us know what you think in the comments.
