Nora En Pure Returns with Stunning ‘Delta/Bartok’ EP

Nora En Pure

Nora En Pure solidifies her title as the Queen of Deep, Melodic House with the highly anticipated Delta/Bartok EP on Enormous Tunes.

Although our favorite artists may not be touring right now, many of them have been using this time to get busy on the decks at home. Back in May, Nora En Pure promised that her tune “All I Need” would be the “first track of many” to be released during quarantine and now she’s delivered. After teasing live audiences everywhere BC (Before Corona) with “Bartok,” we’ve finally been gifted with the full Delta/Bartok EP, out now via Enormous Tunes.

Featuring both regular and extended versions of each track, the EP is a melodic house masterpiece, full of lush piano riffs and uplifting instrumentals that will transport you straight to an Ibiza sunrise set. Although most of us won’t be catching one of those anytime soon, the airy melodies are also perfectly suited for your work from home playlist, sure to energize you enough to get past that 4 PM slump.

Both of the extended versions of “Delta” and “Bartok” are punchier than their shorter counterparts, opening with bumping basslines that wake the listener up before plunging them straight into deep house bliss. Although the entire EP is a solid addition to Nora En Pure’s already impressive repertoire, “Bartok” is the standout, opening with an ethereal vocal that eventually gives way to its darker and sultrier synth-laden melody.

Sydney attributes her love for music from her mom, who insisted on playing The Foo Fighters and The White Stripes rather than Kiss FM whenever she drove carpool and agreed to allow Sydney to attend Coachella in the eighth grade as long as she could go with her. That first festival only greater affirmed Sydney’s passion for the scene, but it was not until 2013 when she attended Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour concert in Los Angeles that she discovered electronic music. She was hooked instantly and has since attended a total of 23 festivals, with countless concerts in between. Sydney’s favorite artists include RL Grime, Jauz, Jai Wolf, Louis The Child, Slander, Bearson and Big Gigantic but she is constantly on the look out for new music and artists to dance to. When she’s not scouring the internet for new tracks or grooving at a concert, Sydney studies Journalism and Biology full-time at the University of Oregon.
