After releasing the State of Insomniac update earlier this week, Pasquale Rotella has unveiled the theme for EDC Las Vegas 2020: kineticZEN!

When Pasquale Rotella said he was going “back to the future” last year for EDC Las Vegas 2020 he really meant it. As the festival celebrates its 10th Anniversary in Sin City, he’s been consistently building the hype with each passing announcement, and now we have another morsel of news to consume after the State of Insomniac update that came earlier this week.

That’s right, two years to the day, Pasquale Rotella has unveiled the theme for EDC Las Vegas 2020. After years of different themes including kineticLOVE and kineticENERGY, this year the Insomniac crew is looking inward with kineticZEN.

In a world filled with distractions and over-connectedness, it can be hard to disconnect from the world to find your inner peace. That’s why it’s important to take some time to make time so you can replenish your mind, body, and soul, which is what finding a zen state is all about.

Speaking to headliners who will be making their way to Las Vegas this year for the festival, Rotella stated: “Life is full of opportunities for reflection, and in those moments we can visualize the world we want to create for ourselves and for each other. I’m grateful and excited to celebrate this next journey with you all. See you soon!” While we’re not sure what’s in store and are waiting for more information that will surely surface, we’re excited to see what Insomniac has up their sleeves for this year’s edition!

On Thursday, February 20, Pasquale Rotella will be hosting a special edition Music Through Music episode of Night Owl Radio to reveal the lineup for EDC Las Vegas 2020. We’ll be liveblogging it and working together to discover the lineup alongside headliners around the world, so stay tuned for that post!

Tickets for EDC Las Vegas are sold out and only Turquoise Lot RV passes remain for camping, find out more details and sign up for the waitlist on their website. Looking for shuttle info? We’ve got you covered!
