Dutch future house duo Zonderling continue to shine with “Spotlight”, a new original track released just in time for the summer season on Don Diablo’s Hexagon.
Fans of future house music should already be very familiar with artists like Zonderling. No strangers to the dance music scene, their first Spinnin’ Deep release coming nearly five years ago and they’ve since released plenty of originals and collaborations with artists like Don Diable and MOGUAI. Characterized by flawless future house drops and powerful, mysterious atmospheres in their music, Zonderling are some of the best in the scene their newest track, “Spotlight“, is another amazing production.
Following the release of two original singles and an edit of Dannic and Promise Land’s “Over“, Zonderling are back with their fourth track of the year. “Spotlight” has them once again returning to Don Diablo’s “Hexagon” imprint, a label that compliments their style perfectly.
“Spotlight” starts with a commanding vocal melody with powerful lyrics behind an emotional chord progression. The drop of the track then hits, giving the listeners an interesting blend of several house music genres. It feels both uplifting and dark at the same time.
One thing that makes Zonderling stand out is their ability to really paint an emotional atmosphere in their tracks, and this one is no exception as “Spotlight” is definitely one of their most creative releases yet. With appearances at both weekends of Tomorrowland and more festivals across Europe this summer, 2019 will continue to be a huge year for Zonderling.
