Audien Announces New Album; Drops Fresh Collab with MAKJ and Julia Church

**Audien teamed up with MAKJ and Julia Church for his latest single, “Slide Away,” which arrives alongside the news that his forthcoming album First Love is coming soon!**

GRAMMY-nominated DJ and producer Audien has continued to impress since first breaking onto the scene in 2009. From releasing some of the scene’s most beloved tracks to championing his Progressive House Never Died brand, there’s been no stopping him over the past decade and a half. Now, Audien is looking to keep the energy alive with the news that his second studio album, First Love, will arrive this September via Armada Music.

The news of First Love arrives alongside Audien’s latest single, “Slide Away.” This track sees him join forces with MAKJ and Julia Church, and the three craft a sublime soundscape filled to the brim with emotion-fueled melodies and vocals, a vibrant, bouncy beat, and a touch of nostalgia. “It’s an “I-love-you-but-I-need-to-chase-something-else” song – outgrowing someone but knowing greater love lies ahead,” Julia Church shared about the track. “I loved working together on this, it feels like the perfect blend of us all musically.”

We wanted this one to feel like the final page of a chapter – big and emotional, but also freeing. There’s tension in the lyrics, but the production feels like release. It’s melodic, it’s punchy and it feels like the perfect intersection of our sounds.

While limited details have been revealed regarding what’s to come on First Love, Audien has left some hints. He mentioned at Winter Music Conference that he planned to release multiple singles in the lead-up to the album while keeping a few on ice for some added flair once it drops. This included the then-recently-released tune “One More Thing” with ARTY and Sara Davis, while it can be assumed that “Bittersweet,” his track with Shallou and Rosie Darling, will also be found on the tracklist.
