One of the most heavily anticipated tracks of the past months is finally here, and “Lost My Mind” is truly a collab made in heaven!
When two of dance music’s biggest names (and personalities) collide, you know you’re in for a treat! These two did not disappoint in the slightest for “Lost My Mind,” creating a bass-heavy heater that draws on Alison Wonderland’s unmatched talents as a vocalist and lyricist and their combined knack for producing those hard-hitting drops that take hold in our souls.
Dillon Francis and Alison Wonderland are both known dip over into the feel-good side of dance music as well as the heavier side of things, so we were interested to see what direction the duo took on “Lost My Mind.” Funny enough, the decision to make the darker track came to fruition from a bet the two friends made on Twitter while rooting for the underdogs, Croatia, during the World Cup. “If Croatia wins we make a happy song and if they lose we make a sad angry song,” Dillon Francis said.
Well, Croatia lost, and we couldn’t be happier with the banger that resulted. First debuted in November at EDC Orlando, “Lost My Mind” made the crowd go wild even though it was only half finished. Ever since that legendary moment, videos have circulated for months as excitement built and fans begged for the full track to be released.
